About Us
Bedfordshire Malayalee Association (BMA) is formed by the natives from Kerala State living in and around Bedfordshire . Kerala is a very small state located to the south west peninsular of India. Popularly known as "The Gods own country", off late, the paradise of ultimate tourist destination, Kerala is a wonder land of surprisingly diverse geographic topography. With one side of the state border marked by the "Arabian sea" and the other border stretched by mountain ranges of the "Sahya". The malayalee community in general are proud to lead a family oriented cohesive life. In the very short span of time, the malayalee community have fully integrated into the local community life .Bedfordshire Malayalee Association is an umbrella organisation bringing together the Malayalees in Bedfordshire .

Our aims and objectives are:

To look into the interests of the Malayalee community in the United Kingdom and uphold their cultural and artistic values.

To foster friendship with other communities, exchange and share ideas and beliefs with them and enhance quality of life.

To promote its indigenous cultural values

To provide the community members with an opportunity to meet, discuss and promote Malayalam language and culture.

To extend a helping hand to any member who is in distress and if needed to raise money for charity.

To work with other community members and similar associations elsewhere in the world.

To encourage and promote integration with local community and culture.
